Prior to founding Zak Communications, Laurie acquired several years of in-house marketing and PR experience in various leadership roles in the Canadian fashion and media industries. It is her ‘in-house’ thinking and constant commitment to her clients and their needs that has driven the success of the agency. A passionate marketer of ideas, Laurie has built a reputation of excellence and trust for the agency, creating partnerships and long-term business relationships with clients, media and within the industry overall. As the agency’s visionary and leader, she values her team above all and enjoys creating opportunities that foster growth and evolution.

With over 15 years of consumer PR expertise, Aaron is the agency’s chief strategy architect, leading integrated communications across earned, paid and owned media. Fueled by a natural curiosity to understand what truly makes people tick, Aaron brings an insight-led philosophy to the business of influence, asking the right questions to uncover the story that really matters to our clients and their audiences. In addition to providing senior strategic council, Aaron is responsible for the oversight and mentorship of the entire Zak team, ensuring that the agency delivers on its mandates with the goal of exceeding client expectations.
